Hey all, current student here. Hang in there and keep busy. This part really is so stressful. Stay focused on the reasons you applied to such a program in the first place. Whether you get in now will not define you and the nurse you want to become. I wish I had been able to reach out sooner especially for those considering specialties...Let me know if you have any program questions.

Best of luck folks.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out and offering to answer questions. There's so much I want to know. For starters, how writing intensive is the program, in in terms of classes on policies and the culminating thesis? Do you know how similar/different the regular AGPCNP track is from the AGPCNP-OEHN?

Thank you for offering your insight. Do you know anything of relevance in regards to the PMHNP program? How many spots are available this year?

@psychache shared some helpful information earlier ... but as the time keeps moving I am just getting more and more anxious. Can't wait for that 1st week of Dec.

Good luck to all!

Thanks for asking this @hopelessromantic! I am curious about this as well ? I have a background in occupational/environmental health so I chose the AGPCNP-OEHN focus. Curious about overall current student experience too.

we're now entering middle of November, but i read somewhere we'll find out by the end of the month? is that right?

this is so nerve-wracking... but let's all breathe and hang in there!

I read from a past UCSF applicant that important e-mails are sent out the last Thursday of the month. Last Thursday of the month is Thanksgiving, so I am thinking may be we might hear something next week Thursday/Friday or first week of December. EEK

Just as nervous as you all.

Good Luck everyone.

Hello everyone, I am a current UCSF MEPN student in my pre-licensure year. I used this portal often during my application and would like to reach out and see if I can help alleviate any stress or answer any questions, so please let me know!

This time last year, it was radio silence. And unfortunately, it will continue to be until the Invite to Interview emails come out. Last year, they came on the last Thursday of November. Overall, plan for all major communications to come out on a Thursday by end of day. Interviews are the 2nd and 3rd Friday of January. Good luck!

Hi, how is your program going. I would really need your help on how to go about my application next year. Thanks.

I have a feeling that this week might be the week we hear back... I'm SO nervous and scared!! From my understanding, we either get an interview invite or a rejection via email, correct? And if we get that interview invite, it's basically a 50/50 chance of getting in? Can anyone confirm this?

What makes you think it's this week? Spoke with ***** mid Sept & he said to expect to hear back in the 1st week of Dec. I'm super nervous too but ready for the verdict!

Yes, I believe we will learn if we receive an invite for interview or rejection. No idea about numbers regarding who gets interviews.

They usually seem to send out invites the last Thursday of the month (according to previous year forums), which is Thanksgiving this year. That’s why I think they may do it this Thursday, or first week of December as someone else suggested.

I received an email in late October that interview emails will go out the first week of December. Hope this helps.
