Summer hopefuls talk here.... good luck to us all!!! :redbeathe
For those of you who have waited more than two weeks to hear back, I would really encourage you to either call or e-mail the UD. I don't see it as bugging them. I see it as showing your interest in the position. Just remember to be extra polite and say something like Hello, my name is _____ I interviewed with you on _____ for a new grad position on your unit. i know this is a busy time for you but I wanted to follow up to see about the status of my application, I look forward to hearing from you You can reach me at ______. I called my UD and was offered the position the next week I don't think it would hurt to try at all!! Good Luck!
Thanks for the advice!!!
Where will you be working? Which unit?
Hi. Oh they said 2 weeks? I guess I won't email and just wait.Yes I interviewed with the UD and the Assistant UD. You?
Oh so you interviewed with both? I only interviewed with the assistant, who was very nice. I wonder if I should email the director? Yeah this waiting is hard! I just want to know. But she told me they would definitely let us know either way.
i haven't heard anything from liver icu yet. she should be scheduling call backs for this week and next. making me anxious, but i guess if no one else has heard from her...
I haven't heard from her since about two weeks ago when she said she would be calling back on May 16th. She didn't say anything about call back interviews though....is that what she said to you?
