2011 UCLA MECN...The Waiting Begins

Who is applying to UCLA MECN for fall, 2011? Monday, Nov. 1 is the deadline. These posts are great for sharing info, soothing nerves, offering support, reality checks, etc. Read some of the past ones if you haven't already. For the next four months, we're in the same boat waiting so we may as well keep one another company.

Does anyone know how many will be accepted for 2011?

Where else have you applied or plan to apply? In addition to UCLA, I applied to USD, Vanderbilt, MSM's AccBSN, and MGH in Boston.

nowhere yet, i only applied to UCLA but i'm fully prepared to take the year off if i don't get in. i didn't take the GRE that most other entry level MSN programs require. what about you, BuMan? what did your application profile look like?

I didn't take the GRE either. On the positive side, I have a masters and am an EMT; on the other hand, my science grades are good but not great. Are you local?

yeah, i'm a UCLA undergrad senior, no masters :-/ i was an EMT for a little while too. 3.6 GPA, cognitive science major
