Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?
I got accepted!!!! I originally thought I'd decline UCLA but I also didn't expect getting in either! So crazy! Now I need to take Epi! Still not sure what to do.... Do you guys know if you can practice nursing after taking the NCLEX and how far into the program that time is?
Congrats everyone that got in!!
Congrats! Did you just get the email? I'm just curious if they are still working on them today.

My work study student told me that she got in today at 3pm.We both share the the same first letter in our last names so I think the post about decisions being released in random posts are correct. So far I've counted at least ten acceptances so they are still a ton of spots for the rest of us. Going to do some hard praying tonight.
Hi All - Congrats to those who have received their acceptances. I received my acceptance letter at 2:30 today PST. I will be turning down my spot, however, because I have already committed (financially and mentally) to attending another MSN program that leads to an NP. For what it's worth, the UCLA decision page stills states that a decision has not yet been made on my app.
HI EVERYONE!
I've been reading this thread since November! Finally the week has come that we have/will find out our admission results!
I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED! (TLeeM kindly gave me a shout out earlier today, thanks :) )
Congrats to everyone else that got accepted and good luck to those eagerly waiting. My motto: Don't worry until you need to and decisions have been made.
1. I emailed -------------- regarding orientation date, she said she doesn't know it yet.
2. For those students planning on taking an Epi course, please PM me if you're interested in taking the class online. It's $500 vs $1500 with UCLA. If a group of us takes it online, hopefully it'll work to a great advantage because we'll know each other before the school year begins, study together, and perhaps it'll be easier to get a proctor for tests if there is a group of us (idk).
3. Looking forward to meeting the new UCLA MECN class!
Hey! nna2928! Don't worry just cause you didn't get in to some school doesn't mean anything!!! Ive only gotten into 1 of the schools I applied to ( haven't heard from UCLA but I doubt I'm gonna get in). Schools are stupid and honestly I may just be going to community college and getting a degree! Don't let schools ruin what you want to do.
