UCLA MECN Fall 2011

I saw that the MECN application for UCLA has been posted today. Is anyone applying to the Fall 2011 program?? I haven't found a thread going on yet...Maybe we can share our questions/concerns regarding the application process here.

I live in LA and I didn't receive anything. I'm starting to think maybe we will get letters before they update the website after all.

I was told decisions were made Monday night, so at best they were mailed yesterday. However, with 600 applicants I think it's more likely they were mailed today. More waiting...

i'm in LA so if they were mailed yesterday, it should arrive today. my mail comes around 4pm. but i'm not holding my breath -- they probably haven't even sent them out!

i apologize if this has been covered before, but i'm wondering if UCLA sends out thin letters for both admitted and rejected. or thick for admitted and thin for rejected. can last year's applicants let us know?

i'm driving myself crazy. hmm... i feel like i'm just thinking out loud at this point. sorry!!

I think one of the current students said his acceptance came in a small envelope.

congrats genzey for getting into USD. by chance, did you receive an email or letter last week? i still haven't gotten my letter from USD yet so i don't know if i got waitlisted or rejected :(. thanks and best of luck to you!

Thanks you too! I received an acceptance from USD but I am hoping to get into a school a little cheaper, ha! I applied to ucla, CSUDH, CSUF, CSULB, western, CSUN, concordia, and CSU LA (which i haven't gotten a call for an interview yet, and apparently they made those calls last week, :uhoh21: )

Sorry to hear that, BethanyS. :( I was going to apply there but I didn't feel like taking the GRE. Sounds like it was a tough group of applicants anyways. Good luck to you on the ones you're still waiting on.

I received an email of acceptance on Feb 25th and I just got home today and got the letter in the mail so hopefully you will know soon... good luck! let me know how it goes

It would be really nice if we could find out about UCLA tomorrow! Waiting is just making me more anxious!
