UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

U.S.A. Arkansas

Published

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

no, I meant to get accepted

sorry lol

Just really hope we all get in! We deserve it!!

Just nervous about exam.. many people say it’s hard and had to take it more than once

It says you will need a 50% or higher for the LPN score. 60% or higher for the RN score. THE TEAS exam is basic Math, Science, English...and they have free study material online for the TEAS. I hope this helps. ?

I’m going for it lol idk how I’ll do though!!

I have taken it once before. It was hard but I did bad because I got nervous and just answered the questions on the science portion so I wouldn't be the last person in the room. So if I would have just stayed and actually tried on that section I probably would have gotten the score I needed but make sure you study at least a week before you test Wednesday

It's not basic science or math. You only have the computer calculator and the science is a&p questions. The English and reading isnt to hard but you only have 54minuets and 24 for the reading and English so it's pretty though

We got this ladies!!!

And if we don’t get accepted, we can apply for the January class.

Good luck!

Has anyone else been trying to call baptist but their line is busy?

Does anyone know when we would know if we got accepted or not after the exam is taken ?

The last day to get everything in is the 1st so I'm assuming after next Saturday. The reason people are already accepted is because they have everything turned in. You can apply to the lpn program to if you dknt make the 60% mark but make in the 50% range
