I am seriously looking into doing the LPN to RN online track at UACCB in Batesville, AR. Is there anyone familiar with the UACCB RN program or LPN to RN program?

Hey did you decide to apply for UACCB?

Specializes in Med, Surg, Ortho, TBI, Geri, PACU, ER.

I am also a LPN wanting to finish my RN. How does this work online? What about clinics? I live in NW Arkansas.

I applied this year to the online program and I am waiting to hear back. I took the nurse entrance exam last week and got a 76 on that which is passing. You only have to have 60 percent to pass the Kaplan nurse entrance exam. When I went to get my nurse exam print out the proctor told me my score is one of the higher ones that she has seen. I don't know how long they take to let you know whether you're in or not. Hopefully I will hear back soon. I only lack one pre req and will finish it up this fall semester.

Did you ever get into UACCB LPN-RN program?

Hi just trying to find out if anyone is familiar with the LPN to RN online track at UACCB in Batesville, AR.  Trying to find out how the clinicals are conducted.

Hi, I graduated through them in 2015 but clinical were on weekends Saturday and Sunday always back to back so if you travelled you just stay the weekend. They give out the full schedule pretty early in the semester and you are split between searcy and batesville

Should have added we then had to find our own preceptor for 8 12 hour shifts, or 12 8’s. I lived in NW Arkansas at the time and we were able to get Washington Regional approved as a location at the time. But if there isn’t anywhere close to you approved already you can have them start an approval process so that it’s hopefully more convenient for you

So they will try to set up clinicals in another state altogether?

No, being an Arkansas resident was a requirement for the program, I would assume it still is

Thanks.  I am trying to find an online program that I could potentially travel to the state to do clinicals at.  I have applied to Hutchinson Community College online  lpn to RN but trying to find other options if this one doesn't pan out.
