Hello ,
Any U.K trained nurses recently been successful with the CGFNS process? I am currently CGFNS process and experiencing some difficulty due to lack of hours in obs and paeds. I have read some threads and the outcome is not looking good due to my lack of hours in those areas. Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

US nurses are generalist trained with all state boards of nursing require clinical & theory in adult, geriatric, mental health, pediatrics, & obstetrics/maternity. Whereas UK nurses are specialist trained and the country uses midwives. There is no way to qualify without clinical & theory in all mandated areas.
Ok, thank you for the reply
Some can find classes to secure the needed clinical & theory courses it's not easy or low cost but it is possible
That's great will try find some more information on these classes , thanks, I won't quit trying

As far as I am aware there are no classes in the UK to make up these areas.... The difficulty will be finding schools in the US that will allow you to do this without enrolling for the full course when not already living in the US
