... If you are accepted this fall '08 to begin studies for your BSN, congratulations!!!
Are you taking patho right now or have taken it in the past? You will be so thankful that you took it beforehand and got it out of the way because you will be very busy your Jr. I semester!!
If you are planning to start TWU full-time and have not taken patho, PLEASE CONSIDER TAKING IT THIS SUMMER! Any sacrifices you have to make in order to take this class before fall will be worth every penny and minute you spend this summer.
I'm speaking from first-hand experience -- I am taking patho, along with my other Jr. I classes, and I am still regretting not taking it last fall. It's doable (and I have three young children at home), but if you have the time and money this summer, please take patho!!!
Good luck to everyone still waiting to receive your letter!! Please PM me with any questions you have. :)

The patho prof at TWU-Houston is AMAZING! But it's a long class.

I just learned today I am accepted at twu for the fall 2008 program in Houston. I originally applied for the accelerated program, but I am thinking the fall program must be the 2 yr BSN, right?
I was also accepted at UT Houston's accelerated BSN program which starts this May and I'm leaning towards this choice.

Question for you two...can you do this program while working part time 32hours/week? I need to get my BSN but I need to work too. Any advice will be greatlyl appreciated.
MAAAAAYBE if it were on weekends only. The faculty is not very sympathetic when it comes to school interfering with work.

I'm applying to the Houston campus this fall. I wanted to know is taking the patho for the summer possible? I know that's a lot of info to take in in a short amount of time
Do they have Patho. in the summer?
I'd do it if that's all you have to focus on. The first semester w/ patho was hard. I just found out yesterday that the patho prof that was awesome retired (Dr. Dachuna). His wife taught pharm and she's gone, too.
