Nursing Students SRNA

Thought I throw this thread out there for other hopeful applicants for some moral support. I'm applying to the Colorado sites only. Here are my stats:

ICU experience: 1 year in Neuro/surgical/trauma ICU

MSN GPA: 3.62

Science GPA: 4.0

GRE: 154V/154Q

CCRN/CNL certifications

Hello anrchope,

You are in a very good status. I also only apply for Colorado.

RN-BSN from CU, cumulative undergraduate GPA 4. But I got my nursing associated degree from China, and we had a different grading system. Organic chemistry 4/4, statistic 4/4; will take College Algebra this summer or fall.

GRE: in June, Combined Q+V 300 (not strong). Last June, combine Q+V 306. But I have sent this June's results to them.

Over 4 years cardiac ICU experience.

ACLS/ PALS/ CCRN.

Hope I will have a chance to get in...

Specializes in MICU.

Good stats! I am sure you will receive a invite to interview. The interview is what will gain you acceptance to the program so make sure to stand out. FYI, I believe you need to take a chem & algebra class before beginning. Good luck í ½í¹‚

Hey guys,

Great stats. I am applying to Lubbock and Dallas sites.

Here are my stats:

ICU experience: 1.5 years in SICU

MSN GPA: 3.93

BA in Biology GPA 3.57

Science GPA: 3.66

Diploma in nursing: 3.73

CCRN/BLS/ACLS/PALS

NO GRE ( TWU waives GRE if you have a MSN)

I will be retaking general chemistry in the fall :)

Did anyone hear anything about interview dates?

Hi Colorado gals. I also applied to both Colorado sites as my first and second choices, though I am open to Texas as well since I live here. Have you guys gotten the news (circa Friday) that UCH is no longer a clinical site?

Yes, I got that email too. Had to adjust my clinical sites.

Hey guys, has anyone received an update on when/where the interviews will take place?

No just an email on 9/17 stating I've been selected for an interview and more information to come later. Did anyone else get the same email?

I haven't heard anything yet from them. Did you send your application way in advance of the deadline?

I submitted my application either late July or first week of Aug.

Did you apply for TX clinical sites? I ask this because I only applied for TX sites. My application still says submittted and not under review like previous year posts have said. Did you status change on your application?
