TWP but fail CRNE

What happens if you are in TWP status and fail the CRNE? What happens to your status? Do you fall out of status? What solutions or options are there available for a IEN on TWP who fails CRNE? Are they alloted time to fix there status or do they have to leave immediately? If IEN fails can she stay until she passes or uses up her 3 times to pass? Can they still work in the hospital if they cant work as GN or even on Temporary permit from college of nursing, even if its not in a GN capacity?

I want to be informed and prepared for all circumstances. Even tho i passed the NCLEX on my first try that doesnt necessarily mean I will pass the CRNE the first try even tho I pray that I do. Any help will be VERY appreciated! Personal experience or related stories will be gladly appreciated too. Thanks in advance!
