thanks. i just read all of the requirements. i have all the classes for the bsn. so if i dont get in anywhere and i happen to get in at TVCC i will definitely do this program. im really excited for the letters. every day i ask my mama whats in the mail. she said nothing yet.. so hopefully i hear something soon.

i also applied for the 2009 adn program. i received my acceptance letter on mar. 28th. i have heard so many things about the selection process, who knows! i applied with 11 points, just to have a little safety net...lol i also have a 3.7 gpa. i am not taking any classes during this semester. i figured i needed a little break. i wish everyone here good luck and hope to see ya there. i took pct there at kaufman and i loved my instructor she's great. hopefully it won't be as nerve racking as i think.......ttyl :up:

I applied to TVCC's ADN program for Fall 09 with 10 points and a 3.449 GPA. I got my acceptance letter and almost passed out! I called Jeffrey to make sure he got my return letter and he told me this year they didn't even make it out of the 10s.

yeah i applied with 8 points . didnt get accepted but luckily i got accepted into midwestern state's bsn program. congrats to all of you and i hope you do well. i feel like im boasting a lil bit, but i know yall can relate. once you get an acceptance letter thats all you can talk about for some days. i got mine yesterday. i applied to five schools was denied to all of them except this one. i had a 3.45, but since tvcc took cumulative and retakes it didnt help me. my friend graduated in may 2008 and works at baylor. i think it will be a good program.

That is strange. We were told to keep three dates open and the first one is May 8th.

Please keep me posted on how your doing away at college!

Kaufman says to keep May 8th, July 9th, and August 20th open for various reasons. First one is orientation. Maybe the other two are refresher orientations just so we won't forget stuff.

But I must say. I really wasn't like the idea of the white scrubs for clinicals. Then I saw a post on here where one school is actually making the students wear the old fashioned white dresses. Now, I don't mind the idea of the white scrubs that much anymore.

Of course now I have to buy underwear specifically to wear under the scrubs cause polka dots would just look kinda funny. (I let my kids pick out my underwear-as long as they're my size-it makes them happy) :)

im so happy for yall. when i applied for TVCC i did notice it said those 3 dates, who knows. yeah and i did see the post about the old fashioned dresses too.. i was like ohh noooo.. lol. luckily our scrubs are dark maroon. i wasnt too fond of having to wear white either. i still want to say good luck to all of you!!!! i still havent calmed down from all this excitement!! do any of you get on craigslist?? if you do PM me i have some info.
