Start a travel contract there next week. TMC comes highly recommended by several RN's. RN's that have extended a few times and return also. I'm excited, love AZ and all it has to offer. Lived there a couple of times, the heat will be no surprise, will enjoy the low humidity. :nurse:

It's a good hospital. I've heard good things about it.

About the city, housing and cost of living is relatively low. $500-$800/month rent for a decent place. If you search carefully you can even get a nice apartment for $400. Be prepared for heat and storms. Right now it's about 100F everyday, but you won't feel it except for going from car to building. At the end of summer is monsoon season where there are afternoon thunderstorms which can cause occasional flooding. Those storms are fun to watch. Tucson has some of the best gas prices in the country as well.

Is it still an "exclusive contract" with CCTC? Good luck hope yours works out better than my OR contract did.
