I am 22 years old and am currently in school tovbe an lvn. I am half way thru term 2(out of 4 terms) so I'm almost half way done. My scores have been pretty good . Passed term 1 with an 86% and then in term two ive been passing all my systems with high 80s. I'm doing pretty good. But almost 3 years ago I was caught stealing makeup at sephora worth 75$ and was convicted of petty theft. I was ordered tovdo a program but didnt because I didnt have the money ..a warrant went out and o barely went to court two months ago and they sentenced me to 3 years summary probation. I'm supposed to graduate may 2017. I'm so so nervous that they will deny my lvn license application because of the fact that I am on informal probation until 2019. My question is...will they automatically deny because I am still on probation ? I would hate to have to take the nclex almost 3 years after I graduate.

What did the Board representative say when you called or wrote to inquire? We can not speak for your Board.
I haven't called them to inquire. I talked to my nclex prep teacher and she said that I need to be honest which of course I will give full disclosure. But I'm just wondering if the fact that I'm on probation is am automatic no go? I mean is it possible to be a nurse while on probation ?

You need to ask the BON.
