Hi I am new to this site. I am trying to get into the LVN program at San Jacinto Comm. College in Houston Tx. Just wondering have anyone applied there and got accepted? Ive applied at the North & South campus. I got denied from both. I met all the requirements. I made an 80% on the Hesi, not sure if that score is good enough. I dont know where Im going wrong. Any advice?

I was recently accepted to San Jacinto South. They put a lot of emphasize on the HESI. Try to get an 85% or above. I got in with a 84%. I didn't study but a lot of people bought the study guide.
okay...thank you very much

What part of Houston are you in? Have you considered either College of the Mainland, they have a program that starts in the spring and so does Alvin CC, Galveston CC only has a program that starts in the Fall and it's to late for this fall but your still ok to apply for spring semester at both COM and Alvin if they aren't to far away from you. Good Luck!

I am going to guess and say that the HESI score was the issue. The higher the better, of course.
