Truly enjoy my job!

Specializes in Rehab, LTC.

A little background in for first. I am a nursing student and have worried in accounting for the past 6 years and have hated it! I recently started my first CNA position at a rehab hospital. I really enjoy what I do, the patients and the hospital I work for. Today after a long day at work I checked my mail and I received a card from my supervisor telling me she has noticed me going above and beyond and being very helpful and a good team player. This made me really feel like I am where I should be. I know CNA work is difficult and we tend to get crapper on (sometimes literally) but it can be so rewarding when you are in a good place. It made me feel really good that the charge nurse took 5 extra minutes out of her busy schedule to recognize me. Anyway, I just wanted to share, thanks for reading! :p:

oh how nice and thoughtful..i too in nursing school and work in insurance..completely HATE what i do..searching hard to find a CNA job...so I can go to job which I enjoy..the extra recogition received by your supervisor is so sweet!
