Hi there,
Just joined the site. Signed up for pre-req this coming summer II. Will be a ESL student, 42yrs old, truck driver experiencing midlife crisis! I do have an associated in accounting but embarking in the next journey as wanna be an RN makes me think how doable it is?! Confidence rises seeing older fellows as myself posting enthusiastic messages...i am excited for the long run, any thoughts are welcome!

Good luck!! If you put your mind to it and put in a lot of effort, it's definitely doable.

This is really doable! I went back to school for my RN nearly 4 years ago at 41 years of age. It was a little harder getting back in the rhythm of studying but I over came pretty quickly. Not bad for an old auto mechanic. You can do this, just keep moving forward.

I like this post :)
I've been working in transportation the past two years as a dispatch assistant for a tanker trunk company while I was working on my pre-requisites. I enjoy the trucking life, but nursing is where my heart has always been.
Good luck!
