Triad nurses--tell me about PRN/casual/per diem opportunities at your facility

Hi all,

I'm in western NC. I'd like to find a PRN position at one of the triad area hospitals, ideally every other weekend. The reason why I'm interested in the triad is that my mother lives in Greensboro and would be able to help out with child care when I'm working. Naturally, I'm interested in something that pays well--aren't we all?!--since I would be driving 4 hrs and staying out of town. I know Duke and UNC have some attractive casual positions, but I'd prefer not to have to drive that extra hour. What do you know about PRN in the triad?

I don't know what Baptist has to offer, but Forsyth Medical Center does hire PRN's & weekenders. We also hire for the MEND corp- which is a float pool. I don't know about part-timers in MEND Corp. There is also a supplemental pool where you have to work 1 day every 6 weeks minimum. Call 336-277-1900 to talk to someone in employment if you are interested.
