I am new to traveling and would like to know what you should look for and what questions you should ask an agency prior to commiting.

Welcomet o travel nursing!
I have been travelingn for 7 years now. The questions I always ask are:
1. What locations they have available where I want to go...and what will the pay rate be? To see if they have what I am looking for. If a recruiter will not answer that question until I fill out all their paper work...simply call another company is what I do.
2. Ask about health benefits? Free? Day1? Can I add my husband to the policy and for how much?
3. Housing? Free private, Pet friendly? Are utilities paid for or not?
4. Travel reinbursement, how much?
5. (If you need a rental car-ask if they provide one)-never had to do this.
Just a few things to get you started.
Good luck
Melissa
Thank You!:thankya: There are so many agencies I dont want to pick the wrong one. I guess it takes alot of research.
Good luck.
Where do you want to travel to?
If you want to come to California......I could save you some time. Respone 1 Medical is an amazing company. They are the best I have ever worked for.
PPR....is great too.
I am leaning towards Arizona-- Any agencies to recommend?
I would PPR.
Tucon or Phoenix.
In Tucson I have worked at UMC, Northwest Medical Center (both campuses)
What does PPR stand for? I went on the "net" and there are several sites for PPR . Can you tell me which one?
pprhealthcare dot com

I wrote you a private message because I wasn't sure if I could give you an agency name and number on the regular forum!
Good Luck!
