Did not see a thread yet for this. Was wondering if anyone here is planning to go. Sept.14 and 15 this year in Las Vegas. I'm thinking about it.
Also, if I do go, wondering if it would be beneficial for me to attend the newbie workshop on Sept. 13 as a traveler who will have been traveling already for about a year. Will I be bored with the info that day? There is one topic I would be interested in attending that day (the tax one), so would I be allowed to just attend that one session and not attend the rest that day?
Would like to know before I decide to register, thanks!

I may go this year and lead a workshop. Just depends on my work/play schedule.
You probably don't need the beginner's seminar. Go early if you want to socialize though. The never-traveled will love you! Gypsy Nurse will usually has a social the night before the Conference starts, but I'm not sure if that is now the night before the beginner's workshop. I think you have to sign up on her Facebook page to attend. Going to her social may assist getting in on some other social events sponsored by agencies. Networking is a large part of the value of going to conferences. It is not required, but certainly meeting recruiters face to face is as valuable to travelers as it is to recruiters (for slightly different but related reasons).
There is no requirement to attend workshops! I have no doubt some attendees will party all night and miss everything. You do have to choose though as multiple workshops are run concurrently.
