Travel Nursing in Phoenix

i am looking to relocate to the phoenix area in the fall and i am finding the nursing jobs for a nurse with less then a year experience are few and far between (pretty much non-exsistant). i am currently working in psych and only have 6 months experience. my goal is to switch back into medical surgical nursing as soon as possible (psych was fun but i really miss medsurg).

anyone aware of any travel nursing companies that provide more then 2 weeks orientation for nurses willing to take a longer assignment. this probably sounds ludicrous but i am trying really hard to explore all options and i figure if you don’t ask you will never know.

thanks for any info in advance. (and if anyone has any info on permanent spots in phoenix that would also be greatly appreciated!).

its difficult to get a travel nurse experience with a year let alone 6 months. i know that banner health is popular in that area and there is a mayo clinic in phoenix. two years experience is better just because so many situations may arise and to better protect your license. check out highway hypodermics or travel nursing central, these are great travel nurse resource websites. good luck!!!
