Travel Nursing in NYC and California: Need Advice, Please ...

I am hoping to start getting into travel nursing and I have my sights on getting placed in hospitals throughout NYC and California. I have two questions:

(1) Can anyone recommend a travel company that would be good to start out with that has opportunities in both of these markets?

(2) I just recently started applying for my California RN license by endorsement, will I get reimbursed for these costs after the fact if I down the road get placed in California? Just curious ...

(3) Do travel agencies include car rental in the benefits? For those hospitals where public transportation would be inaccessible.

You will get reimbursed for your license. I always did. Just remember...California nursing and NYC nursing are VERY VERY different. If you can work in NYC you can work anywhere. I personally prefer NYC nursing to Cali nursing but that's where I was trained so I am partial. But it can be rough and you have to be able to handle volume. There are no ratios like in Cali
