Just wondering ~ anyone heard of a travel job that required you to put the utilities in your own name and be responsible for turning them on?
?
Strange. Anyone else heard of this?

I've only heard of doing this with the phone.
Ditto.
I'd heard of doing this with the phone ~ but EVERYTHING?
They said I'd have to move into a HOTEL for the first couple days ~ I guess to get the UTILITIES turned on!
Then you would have to turn around and move into the apartment after you'd had the utilites turned on?
I don't think so......sounds weird to me!
Luckily, this was only a "back-up" job for me. I don't think I will have to take it; I was just curious about this because it seemed very, VERY odd......being on a travel assignment and having to arrange your own utilites is strange.

Some companies are like that, and they usually aren't very good.
Give Travel Nurse Solutions a call 888-300-5132, ask for Niki. I am not traveling any more, but they're the best I've seen, and offer the whole package. Tell her Leah says "hi!"
Good luck!

Anyone one out there ever heard of travel companies placing a cap on utility bills. My recruiter gave me $80.00 for electric, & $30.00 for water. I told her that Low espicially for South Florida. She said thats the standard. I would like to know. Please ANYONE!!!!:bowingpur
