Travel Nurse to Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA

Hey everyone! I started traveling recently (last February) and have been at Kaiser in San Diego since. I would like to go to San Fransisco for my next assignment. I interviewed for a med/surg 12hr day position at Highland Hospital in Oakland. I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on this hospital? I float all the time at Kaiser, its annoying but I am used to it now. I am worried because Ive worked nights the last 3years and have never worked a day position. Any feedback is helpful!! Also, is it a safe area? Ive heard bad things about Oakland. I would ideally like to live in the city and than commute to work.
