I’m an in NP with 5 years experience. I’m missing my travel days as an RN but now I have a house, kids, spouse, etc. I know there are lots of locums availability but I am looking for something a little unique. I want to work some shifts locally where I am but fly out and work a week once a month or so somewhere else for a change a pace and hopefully better pay. Anyone know if this is possible?

You could probably do this as a Per Diem NP but would require some negotiation with the group. I've known of Per Diem NP's in some ICU NP groups who get to give their availability (I.e., 4 days straight, maybe Friday to Monday, once a month). It's possible but you'll have to find the group that is willing to accommodate.
