i am ready to return to travel nursing, the only concern i have is benefits. although blessed with great health myself, my husband is on several medications that without a great pharmacy benefit, we can't afford.
how are the benefits with the company you work for? i know you can't post the company name but would you send me a pm with the information?
thanks!

The difficulties with Travel Company benefits are,
1. Only good during travel assignments.
2. Usually are "short term" insurance and are only for the Nurse.
3. Travel companies don't offer "family Plans".
I decided a few years ago that not having a consistent insurance plan wasn't a good Idea for a person over 50. I picked up a personal policy and ask the travel companies to pay the amount that I would receive in insurance benefit as an insurance stipend. Some do and others don't those that don't , usually don't have me as a nurse for long.

Thanks for the information Rod. That's what I was afraid of when I started looking at travel companies. I will look into a personal policy.
