I have my CNA license in Colorado, but I am going to college in Washington. What do I have to do to be able to get a Washington CNA license, or work with my Colorado one?

you need to call the board of registration in nursing in washington and ask them what they want you to do. it's their call. there's really no other answer .

In Ohio, you don't get a "license" per se, to become a STNA (state-tested nursing assistant). It means you took the course and passed the test. Only nurses (LPN and RN) have licenses. Check with your Board of Nursing.

There was just another thread out on CNAs and their licenses. It's my understanding that CNAs are certified not licensed ... or has something changed?

Again CNA's are NOT licensed. It's a registry. The program was mandated by the federal government to prevent Nursing Home abuse.
in most states washington included the department of health controlled by the state medical board runs the cna registry not the board of nursing.
