I am taking classes at a community college and just started (Spring 2016). I want to transfer to a 4 year University by Spring 2017, but obviously my nursing prerequisite classes will not be complete by then. Can I transfer to a University to finish my prerequisites and then later apply to the nursing program?
Would I have to apply as undecided or something and then switch majors to nursing?
I have no idea what to do, help!!

Different schools have different criteria for transfer admissions. Best would be to contact the admission department of the university you're looking to transfer to.

I also agree that you should contact the school directly, but I will share what I did in that situation.
I went to a 4-year institution for my freshman year and completed some prerequisities before deciding that I wasn't really happy there. After that year (2 semesters), I decided to transfer to another school. Since I had not completed all of the prereqs, I had to go in as an undecided student until I finished. It took me two semesters at the new school to finish everything. After I finished, I met with some of the Nursing faculty and they helped me transfer into the nursing program.
