Town & Country Hospital Tampa

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Town & Country Hospital. I had a clinical there, but it was for a short time at the very beginning of nursing school. I have an intervew for a position in a couple of days and would appreciate any feedback ... good or bad. If anyone knows what an LPN with 1 year experience could expect to make there that would be GREAT too!!

Thanks in advance for any info!!

Hi! I'm in Tampa! I have not heard of anything from T&C but good luck!!! Did you like it when you had clinicals there?

Thank you!

I like my clinical there just fine, but it was the beginning of nursing school so we mostly did CNA type work. My son was admitted there during my clinical rotation and I really liked the nurses on the Pediatric floor. Don't think they have a Peds floor any longer though.

One of my instructors loved Memorial Hospital which is owned by Iasis (as is T&C). I'm really excited for the interview. It's so difficult to get into a hospital as a new(er) LPN.

Hi,

Just wondering if you had your interview yet and what you thought of the hospital. I am thinking of applying there also but don't know too much about it! I am also a fairly new LPN...working PRN in LTC. I would much rather be working in a hospital.

Thanks for any info you might have!

I did have the interview. It went well, I think. The interviewer was very nice and I would be extremely happy to work there! I enjoy my job in LTC (a little) and will miss my Residents, but I am looking forward to the opportunity to get into a hospital.

It's a small hospital, but that has it's benefits, you know! Definitely apply. Memorial Hospital is part of the same company and one of my instructors in nursing school raved and raved about it. You never know, you may love it. If not, it's a great stepping stone for the future!!!

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad that your interview went well and you liked the hospital. I understand the desire to be in a hospital vs. LTC. I love my residents too but it is not the kind of job that I went to nursing school to do. Let us know if you get the job and how it goes!

Good luck!!!
