Torrance Memorial March '17 New Grad Residency

Published

hey guys just wanted to start a forum on the new grad residency at torrance memorial starting in march 2017. It would help to update each other about the process!

Applications opened up 1/13/17 and their e-mail stated that it will take about 2 weeks time for a call for an interview.

Thanks for starting this thread! I wasn't able to input my license information and certifications into the application and if anyone else has/had that problem you can put it in the section that says "Other Skills". I called IT and also HR and the woman in HR I talked to said that putting your license info in the "Other Skills" box is fine.

Wooo! A thread for this!! :) I got a call back today for an interview on wednesday for Mother/Baby! :D

I know Oncology unit had interviews today.

@nikkinixter Wow congrats!! Good luck on your interview and thanks for the update :)

I received a phonecall for an interview this coming Friday for med/surg!

That's awesome! I haven't heard anything, does anyone know when the last interviews will be?

I had an interview today for Med/Surg Tele. I was told a decision would be made by end of next week, latest early the following week. They will still be interviewing next week. However, I do not know if that applies to all positions at TMMC or if that even applies to to all med surg. I hope it's not too long, I have an offer from PIH that I don't want to wait too long on. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! I received an offer today for mother baby, just wondering who the other 4 ladies or gentleman that will be starting with me! Would love to meet you 😁

YAY! :D Congrats @missjaycee! I hope I get a call back soon too! >.

Hey everyone. I had a panel interview and was told they would get in touch this week. Has anyone heard from Oncology yet?

Update: I just received an offer for an orthopedic night shift position this morning. I'm not certain I will be accepting, but just know calls are coming in!

I've decided to accept the position at TMMC. I was initially going to decline, but apparently the nurse recruiter accidentally told me 6E was orthopedics (it's a mixed med surg floor) - which is what I wanted! I'm interested in starting a fb group, let me know if you've been accepted and I'll add you! For those of you still waiting, good luck!
