Took NCLEX today!!

Published

Hello everyone, i am new to this site but have been reading messages for awhile now, and it has really helped me get through the test. I just took NCLEX today and really feel terrible.....i only got 75 questions and I felt like i was guessing on most of them. I'm not sure what 75 questions means, but I'm still really nervous. Has anyone taken the test on a Friday, and know how long it took to recieve the quick results? Hopefully i can get them by the end of the weekend! I am dying here!:uhoh21:

good luck. I took my exam a long time ago, but I only had 75 questions and I passed. If I remember correctly. each question is based on the previous question. This goes on untill the computer figures out what level you are at. If it can do that by the 75th question you have passed. Do not worry. I do not know long it takes to get results. good luck.

I am also worried because i felt like the last question was pretty easy! I'm pretty sure i got it right but it worries me because the questions are supposed to get more difficult! Did anyone else feel this way? I'm really not sure how im going to make it though these next days!!:imbar

Steph, I know how you feel, I just took the NCLEX on Tuesday, only had 75 questions, and thought the last one was easy. I also felt like I was guessing for most of them. I was a nervous wreck waiting the two days to get my results. I just found out yesterday that I passed! Don't worry, from what I have heard, if you only had 75 questions, you have a very high chance of passing. I know its difficult, but try to stay positive. Do something nice for yourself this weekend, you deserve it! :) ~Kristen, RN :nurse:

i am on the same boat as you are. i know that i have worked hard enough to have not failed at 75 questions but it still scares me that i never heard of most of the things included in the exam. it seemed as though the exam was more of a comprehension reading exam more than a method to evaluate safe nursing practice. i'll be crossin my finger and prayin for both of us. also, i have not heard yet of anyone failing the boards this year after 75 questions. lets keep our heads up.

Yes i know what u mean.... i'm crossing my fingers for you too!! I am really glad that i found this website because i need all the support i can get right now. Thanks guys!!
