Took my NCLEX today at 2. I walked out of there completely convinced that I failed. The level of difficulty on my questions didn't seem hard, and I even got a question regarding labs and it gave me the ranges for the norm! I thought, "Jeez, I must be doing awful if it thinks I don't even have common lab ranges memorized." I had 78 questions. I started crying before I even got my stuff out of my locker. I got home and immediately did the PVT and got the good pop-up, although I'm convinced I'll be the first person it's not accurate for! I felt well prepared until my first question. Just looking for some encouragement I guess, I would super appreciate it. :) I know I'm meant to be a nurse and I know I'm at least minimally competent.

I felt the exact same way as you, when I took mine. I got the good pop up and I passed. I am positive you passed!

Good luck.
Good to hear ProudRN2010! I'm hoping and praying the PVT works!! I'm checking every five minutes... thinking I should get some sleep now but there's no way!!

I, too, was almost disappointed with the lab values... I also only got one, and it gave me the norms. I thought, "Are you KIDDING me? I spent HOW much time on memorizing lab values????" I was shocked when I didn't even know number one!
I'm hoping that the good pop up works for both of us!
Good luck :-)
According to the Arizona State Board of Nursing, under my license status, it says: Applicant: Passed NCLEX-RN. :) So very happy!! Now I can breathe and stop feeling so sick to my stomach. PVT trick works!

I take mine tomorrow... I am totally freaking out over it. I just keep taking hundreds and hundreds of practice questions and tests. I always end up somewhere in the 70%'s. I am scared to death for tomorrow!
HDNurseNicky,
I was scoring anywhere from 52-66 on Kaplan - my scores were just terrible and I didn't feel ready at all. But I passed. If you're scoring in the 70's you will do great!!
Thanks everyone!
Just realized I completely contradicted myself. In my first post I said I was ready until my first question, in my last I said I wasn't ready at all. I guess I just don't know what I was. Nervous, perhaps?

I felt like I prepared, but still didn't feel ready, wondered if I prepped enough. I had to post because I took the NCLEX today & I also got 78 questions. Content seems to be very similar to yours, I also had one with ranges provided... I thought I was bombing at that point. I did the Pearson Vue trick when I got home & I got the good pop up... so here's hoping. Congrats to you! I thought 78 was a strange number, & wasn't sure what to think. Still not sure what to think, but you've given me a little hope. Can't wait until Friday to find out for sure!
