Took NCLEX Today..Got the Good Pop Up!

Well, the title says it all! I took my NCLEX PN today and got the good pop up! I never thought I'd be able to test so soon, since my state CA is supposed to be backlogged and we were told by the staff at our school as well as told by other students that the state was taking 4-6 months to process applications.

Well, I graduated on Nov 1 and received my letter from the board that said I'm eligible to test in early December! I took my test today Dec 16 and just received the good pop up using the Pearson View Trick!

I don't know quite what to do with myself! This is just so exciting!

I only gave myself 12 days to study cause I really wanted to take it. I tried to do 3000 test questions cause that's what was recommended. I did about 2200-2500. I used Kaplan q bank, Kaplan ktp and 2 apps for my sources for questions. I made flash cards for topics I didn't understand and then used mneumonics to help me memorize stuff like side effects, labs and drug classes. I reviewed my notes daily making sure I knew the answers daily. I used this site and the sites youtube video tutorials to help me remember how to do the math: http://www.dosagehelp.com/ The apps I used were upward mobility and nclex pn mastery. They cost me $29.99.
