Took NCLEX Saturday...feel horrible

I'm a newbie and just had to say that I took NCLEX yesterday and am absolutely freaking out. The exam shut off at 75...but I felt like I maybe got 7 or 8 right. There is absolutely no way on God's green earth that I passed that. No WAY. I had TONS of SATA. One math question from hell. Lots of priority questions and I don't even want to think about all the Pharm questions I had. I had several select all that apply drug questions ! It was horrible. I was dazed when I got up from the computer.....I thought I would collapse when I went to the lockers to get my purse. I did take a prep class (not Kaplan or anything like that...) But the class is taught by a retired RN who is fabulous and has a pretty high success rate. I am just sick. I didn't sleep last night and don't even want to call to see what my status is tomorrow.... help !!!! :sniff:

I took mine yesterday too and I understand exactly how you feel. Everything that you described on your post sounds exactly what I experienced yesterday. I am praying for us.

That's all we can do at this point... pray ! I keep telling myself it's not the end of the world if I didn't pass... I can take this over in 45 days....

hey there - well by now you should know your results? I hope you passed. I just took my boards this morning and your exact words is how I feel right now. I stopped on the way home 3 times to throw up but nothing would come out. I dread telling my family and friends that I think I failed???? :crying2: Best of luck to you...:D

I feel the same exact way. I took mine yesterday it shut off at 75 and I feel horrible. I am anxiously awaiting my results(maybe)! Reading all these forums has given me some hope!

I understand how you feel. I took mine yesterday and today I am just a bundle of nerves, I am starting to feel sick about it. I think it's the waiting that is getting to me. It's weird... no words to really describe NCLEX. I pray we all passed it. I won't know until tomorrow morning at 8am.

..everyone feels like that. I took the NCLEX 3 times and each time i felt worse than before, the third time i ran out of time and didnt even finish the test

and i passed.

By having alot of SATA questions and priority is a GREAT thing, having taking th test 3 times myslef..There IS a coorelation between #of SATA questions and passing. the more, the better. so it sounds like you did just fine. ! i wish you the best of luck, and if you have to re-test, remember, its a dumb test that is NOT indicative of how good of a nurse you are OR will be. :)
