Don't forget 85% (I think) of people pass the first time. Everyone always feels like they've failed! Good luck!

Took my NCLEX on the 6th. Felt exactly the same way as you. I had similar questions and I am an RN today. Try to do some other things until you find out the results. Like ANH_RN stated "85% pass the the first time". I wish you well!!!

I also took mine on the 6th, I found out on the 8th that I passed. It is so true that no matter how well you did everyone feels like they failed. Even if you leave thinking "that wasn't so hard" then you start the think "maybe I got all easy level questions, I must have failed" You have to stay positive, priority questions are higher level questions. Stay positive or you will drive yourself crazy.

The exam is done with, get out and try to relax whilst you wait for your results Good luck

Oh my gosh, you sound exactly like I did last Thursday! I see that you posted this at 3:30 am---yep, that was me. Couldn't sleep, would have waves of anxiety, kept looking up questions to see if I had chosen the right answers (usually I had not, so that added to my anxiety!) On the day that I looked at my results, I sat at the computer shaking, nauseated, flashes of hot and cold......until I saw that i had PASSED! I know everyone has probably been telling you that you passed and no, that still did not make me feel better. It almost made me feel worse....Let me tell you what I wish I had done in those two excruitiating, stressful days: go for a walk in the woods, go get a manicure/pedicure, go on a shopping spree with some friends, go out for a fabulous dinner, and get a good night's sleep....And just remember, the absolute WORST thing that can happen is that you have to take it again.....it's only life, after all.....

Best of luck!

thank you very much guys for the words of encouragement...unfortunately i have to wait for 2-4 weeks for the results from ca bon..

Oh my gosh! Well, in that case, you definitely need to put it out of your mind and go enjoy life for awhile! What's done is done....after all that time in school, it's time to live it up a little!

hi ashlea19! we have the same thoughts. i still don't know how long to wait. ive been waiting for 6 days now. did u try to check your name at the DCA? here's the site http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800

i can't find mine yet so im scared if i didnt pass. but hopefully, wishing for the best! more power!

hi guys... i took the nclex rn on the 6th.. and found out today that i passed (10th). the BRN updates their website every day monday thru friday really early in the morning... .. i found out today around 5am in the morning ( pacific time).

ashlea19, Its true what they say, everyone tends to feel as if they failed. I came out of the testing center crying because i thought i did horribly... so hang in there! I know they wait kills... but try to keep yourself occupied. :) Good Luck!

Hey, I too took 78 questions and thought.....WHAT!! 78, I've NEVER heard of someone getting 78. I thought SURELY I failed. I had VERY similar questions as you described and almost drove my wife INSANE along with myself, BUT I passed. I took it on the 10th of Feb. and my wife called me @ 0500 Valentine's morning saying "YOU'RE AN RN!!!!" So, don't freak, get out of your house and try to distract yourself. I know you'll be checking the BRN site at least 10 times a day, and California says they can take forever BUT most of the time it is up within 3-5 days, so just relax and know you don't have any more nursing instructors trying (or so it seemed) to get you kicked out of the program :). The hardest part of the pre-employment phase is over... you passed nursing school, celebrate. Good luck. L

I received the results this morning and unfortunately i failed.. Initially, just like anyone else who failed the exams i felt bad because it means i have to start all over again...:banghead: but I know because of prayers ,God has made me realize that everything happens for a reason and because of this I feel a lot better now...For those like me who failed...do not be dissapointed....who knows on our next try, if it is GOD's WILL ,we might pass the exams..Many thanks..:)
