Took Nclex RN today.....:(

Hi hi NCLEX exam taker. Just wanted to tell you that I felt exactly the same when I took my test in december. I felt very bad, didn't get any calculation questions or alternative or any other than 4 choice questions. And I thought that I had failed, I was in shock for 2 days, couldn't function. But then I got my results in 13 days and I passed.

I hope y get your results soon and I am sure y passed.

So I took the wonderful test today....Now I feel like absolute crap. I had between 110-120 questions, NO alternative format questions, no drug calcs, pretty much ALL priority. I don't think I got the last one right which makes me really worried. I studied hard and really kept calm during/before the exam and read each question carefully and just walked out of the exam crying. So if everyone could PLEASE just say an extra prayer for me and for everyone else out there....I guess I didn't realize how bad I would actually feel!

That is exactly what you wanted to get on your exam, mainly priority questions............and the number of questions makes no difference, as well as if you got the last question right or wrong.

Go and do something fun for yourself tomorrow.

You did great girl!! I had 265 questions, and I'll have to say 245 were priority questions. I was told afterward that that is very good and come to find out 2days later ------- I passed!!! Take it easy and relax.

IF this makes you feel better... I took the test early in feb and I had about 110 questions. I had a lot of priority questions and only one select all that apply. I felt horrible after the test... but i tried to keep positive. And I Passed! So keep you head up!

Just found out.....I HAVE TO TAKE IT AGAIN! I have never been so upset in my life. How do I tell my manager/educator everyone at work? I know I shouldn't feel bad because this doesn't predict how you are as a nurse.....but I do. I don't know what to do now as far as studying AGAIN for another 6 weeks.....Suzanne any suggestions?!? I feel like such a loser.

I'm so sorry you did not pass this time , but please stay positive. My friend failed her NCLEX 1st time on 265 and passed 2nd time on 265 a more competent and fantastic nurse you cannot find.

Take some time out for yourself, don't worry about what others may think, all nurses know what it's like.

Keep your head up. I did 199 questions mostly priority and passed! Priority questions are good. Try not to kill yourself with worry. :)
