Hey guys!
So I took the NCLEX-PN for the second time on 12/23/15. The last time I took it was in 2012 and I failed it at 85 questions.
This year I took a Life Savers Review course that cost $375 for a (Friday-Sunday) 7 hour class, and I did a lot of Saunders questions.
Well, I finished in about 3 hours with the maximum amount of questions (205). I had a lot of delegation, follow-up, priority questions. I counted exactly how many SATA apply I got... I got 25!!! I was trying not to freak out. I remember having 15 SATA before I even hit 85 questions. Seemed like the test was never going to end. I only got on math calculation question and it was one of the last ones.
Anywho, I came home and I did the PVT (Pearson-Vue Trick) and I got the "good" pop-up, (Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.)
Last time I got the "bad" pop-up and failed.
I know it's not 100% sure accurate all of the time but it did make me feel a little better.
Hopefully I get to start 2016 as a nurse! I graduated school in 2010 and like I said, this was my second attempt. I was scared to take it before because of the fear of failing it.
Im at a totally different mindset now and I am determined to take it until I pass it. Definitely feel more mature and driven.
Can't wait for my results!
Wish me luck!!!

Hello, I took Exam on 12/21/2015 but no luck. Was that Life Savers help you a lot?
@Mscoleman78 Thank you!! :)
@elltag What do you mean "no luck"? :/ About the good vs bad pop-up?
Last time I took it my results took about 3 weeks. Hopefully I get them sooner this time. LOL
I think Life Savers did help, we will see how much it helped whether I passed or failed the NCLEX.

Hey I took it the same day. I got 205 questions! Got mostly SATA, delegation, priorities, patient teaching on pharmacology. AND ALSO took Life Savers last month at Burbank! Too nervous to check how I did! Let me know what happened!
Good luck!! I hope we passed!! [emoji4][emoji106]ðŸ¼

hi guys,
i had my BSN degree way back 2005 in the Philippines, i took the test for California Nclex RN last Nov. 2012 & failed. I reapply & got a response from BON to retake MS & OB classes in 2013 giving me 3years to complete but due to financial issues & having difficulty getting in one of the universities here in bay area, i decided to take California Nclex PN. I took the test for Nclex PN December 1, 2015 without reviewing at all & answered all 205 questions for 5hrs, I had a lot of SATA, prioritizations, delegations & 3 calculations. so anxious with the result & i had been checking everyday using PearsonVue trick & always gets a "good pop out". finally i recieved my official result December 18, 2015 & I passed. PVT works for me! i guessed my hospital experience/observations as a Patient Care Tech=CNA helped me a lot during the test.
To God be the Glory!!!
Good luck everyone & Happy Holidays
