After getting only three hours of sleep because of the gallstone attack I had last night, I sauntered into the exam hall at 9am, but with my fingers crossed for the best.
I took my time in answering the questions, of course I wasn't alert enough to think or analyze fast. The computer cut me off at 85 questions and after about two and a half hours. Honestly, I was glad it did.
I got lots of priority, delegation and med questions, as well as about 8 select all that apply:o.
Before I started the exam, I said victory is mine and I am still holding on to that, a few hours will tell. Right now, I don't even have enough energy to worry or freak out, all I want is sleep.
For those who are yet to take the exam, make sure you brush up on your fundamentals knowledge. I used Saunder's and NCSBN, and two days before the exam, I answered questions from Lippincott. The NCLEX questions were more like Lippincott in my opinion. If I had to choose again between the three, I would choose Lippincott. Saunder's had lots of very long questions and sometimes I got lost before getting to the end of the question, again, this is my humble opinion.
I will keep you all posted. Good luck to those yet to test.

I know how you feel about gallstone attacks...I had my gallbladder removed in August two weeks after having a baby girl. After several gallbladder attacks that I really thought I was going to die from! Good luck on your NCLEX.. I'm sure you did fine. Get some rest and relax!

A gallstone attack! Now that's incentive for the NCLEX! Hope your efforts were successful and congratulations on the attempt. So many people would have chucked the whole thing and tried to reschedule their exam. You stuck to it. Good for you!
