Took NCLEX this AM - 75 questions

Hi All!

I took my NCLEX this morning. I got 75 questions exactly. :stone

I don't know what to think. Some were easy, I got like 5 "check all that apply" questions, I didn't have any math, and I came away feeling like I don't know anything!!!

I feel like the biggest failure in the world at this point...no, wait, I'm lying. I'm past that now. Now I just feel numb.

Thanks for "listening" to me. (I'm sure my family is tired of it!)

One question, am I the only one that started crying as soon as the computer shut off? I really thought I was going to puke (and it didn't help that they had a barf bag laying beside the computer!)

Okay, I'm going now! Thanks again!

Are you serious? They really have a barf bag by the computer? Oh my! I test next week - good to know.

Have faith in yourself. You studied hard, you got through nursing school, and statistically, 75 questions is a good sign :) Keep us posted on your results! Wishing you the best!

It's a dreadful test. What you're feeling is entirely normal. I've read posts from lots of people who have burst out in tears and have nearly gotten sick and have gotten sick. Almost all of us leaving feeling bad about it.

It's over now. Try to be gentle and encouraging when you talk to yourself. You did your best. Hang in there.

I just took my test last Wednesday, 265 questions only 2 math, 5 alternative type questions, ALL HARD ( it seemed) and I found out today that I passed. I didn't feel like puking after the test but at about 170 questions I just kept thinking "Oh God please make this computer shut off! I already know I failed"

I was so tired and my brain was numb. But, have faith in your self, I could have sworn I didn't know ANYTHING, and I thought "They didn't teach me that in school!" And I still passed!!!

Thanks

dont be so hard on yourself....everyone feels like they failed when they leave...its only normal...try to relax until you officialy get your results. i know its hard..i didnt sleep at all...but you probably passed...i read in the brochure that pearson gave that said 85% of people pass on their first time..just chill out, good luck!

Hey Sara! I'm crossing my fingers for you! Hang in there while you wait for your results. Know that everyone here is rooting for you to pass! :)

They really have a barf bag next to the computer?! Uh-oh! Does that mean that a lot of people use it? I'm wondering if I should eat breakfast then! I'm taking it friday and am feeling the pressure now. :uhoh3:

Anyhow-hang in there and try your best to keep busy until your results are in. (I know that is easier said than done! I'll probably end up checking the website fifty gazillion times once I've taken it!) :)

For all those who asked...yes, there was really an airline style barf bag on the desk next to the computer I was testing at! I seriously considered the fact that I may have to use it. :uhoh3:

Well, it's the waiting game now. Thank you to all who have sent good thoughts and wishes. :)

I'll be back Friday evening to let you all know how I did. (I have to work either 7A-15 or 7A-7P...like I'll really be able to focus!)

Thanks!

Is there a number for each question, so you know how many questions you answered? I took my LPN, but I did not quite remember.
