Took NCEX-RN Today! Shut off at 75

I just took my NCLEX-RN exam today. Oh my goodness. That exam was crazy! The computer stopped at 75 questions and it took me almost 2 hours. I got 11 SATA, 1 exhibit/chart, 1 ordered response, 3 calculations which I know I answered correctly, and a lot of teaching, infection control, delegation, assignments, prioritization, like 7-10 meds teaching. There were some easy questions mixed in once in a while so that kinda freaked me out, but towards the end it was all other types of questions. It was like no other. The questions were not difficult but the answers were! Talk about critical thinking. I was NOT confident in the majority of the answers. I understand that this is quite normal. I don't know what to think right now. I guess I'm just going to have to wait. I really hope that I pass! I'm in CA. Hopefully, I'll find out soon.

i am with you also.. just took my nclex this morning shut off at 75. wheeew! :uhoh3: i had lots of math questions than SATA, lots of priority, teaching, delegations, infection control, medications. i also had d drag&drop order response type question. i hope its a good sign but im kinda worried because i dont hd that many SATA type. :cry: i really hope n pray for d best. be postive.. we'll find out soon! Good luck to you as well! I don't think the amount of SATA questions you have determines whether or not you pass. I hope we both post in a few days that we passed! I don't know what to think about my exam. How can you study for an exam and not even feel confident about the answers you chose? That's the NCLEX for ya! I'm trying not to stress, but inside I am so freakin out!

I took it today also and it shut off at 75. I also know of 6 other people in my class who also got 75 and all have passed. I DID NOT LIKE the questions I had, way to many SATA, way, way too many! I am on pins and needles until I know. Good luck everyone!!!!! I hope we ALL passed.

I took it yesterday and it also shut off at 75 and like you, a lot of people in my class passed with 75 so I am confident!
