hi out there i'm in desperate need of help. i took kaplan twice hoping against hope that i missed something, i ended up taking the nclex twice at 265 it's been 3 business days and i haven't heard anything, btw i'm in ca which doesn't participate in quick results. i was a good student in nursing school and i don't know why i keep making such stupid mistakes.
am i depending on kaplan too much?!

I took nclex last week and had 265, I'm also from CA. I took it last Monday and it's been about 7 business days now and still no word from boards. I honestly think I failed too but I guess we just have to keep on being positive. I called boards thinking maybe something was missing on my file and I was told that my results are still being processed. I hoping it's not code for you failed. I took kaplan also and I feel like it was a waste of money, because after the first question hit I didn't feel prepared period. I wish CA did participate in quick results but I guess all we can do is sit on our hands. I hope you pass. Keep us updated.

I am re-taking my exam this month. Don't beat up yourselves, especially when your results didn't even come out yet. California takes at least 7-10 days, although your test is already determined of pass/fail as soon as you walk out of the Pearson office.
Good luck to you...

There have been a lot of people on here that have had 265 questions and passed. None of us have come out of the test thinking "woooohooo, that was the easiest test that I've ever taken" Don't beat yourself up before you get the results.

Is this for RN or PN. I'm in ca also had to wait just about 4 weeks for my results, but I was under the impression for RN you could look on BON and see if name is posted there. I know this does not pertain to PN because once you receive your results you have to send your check for your license.
:bluecry1:This is for the RN nclex test. All my friends have seen their name on the brn website within 2 business days and this is why i am terrified. My teachers have told me if you hit 265 questions it is the last question that is the deciding one and i think i bombed it. This is happened to me once before i just don't know if i could go through this all again. I have heard that this was a myth but if so why would my teachers believe it as well.
Btw my file is complete so there really shouldn't be a delay.
Thanks for listening everyone, any input?

Stay positive. I am in Illinois and I am taking the NCLEX on July 17. Don't be discouraged.

i do know that ca varies between 3 days to 10 days, so hang in there. i know you hate to hear this, but i am sure you did fine. taking kaplan twice especially.
every post i see who have studied the q bank, review and trainer from kaplan have passed.
good luck to you.

Still no word yet from boards =( I go through phases of when I get really anxious and just want to barf to phases were a slightly calmer and just want to know either way and I am fine with whatever the results is to be. It's discouraging that people on here are finding their results before me and they took the test after me and they are also from CA. But I have to keep reminding myself that my case is different and we probably have different evaluators and different circumstances. So this is day 10 and still nothing, no mail and my name sure isn't listed on the BRN website yet. I hope you find your results and that you pass! I will keep everyone updated on my status....And I will keep praying for all of us
I know how you feel, but i'm just going to stay as positive as i can for right now, remember i have been so close to passing before and i know how truly agonizing this is. I am here for you if you need to vent, keep me posted.
