I'm getting really really nervous. I have a lot of pressure going no and now my anxiety is kicking into overdrive.
I have so much riding on this PASS! I want it, I deserve it, I worked my booty off!!
This is my second attempt!
Is there any last minute advise you can give?
Testing strategies to remember?
Suggestions; what did you write down on your whiteboard?
ughhhh.....
thanks, Lisa

You are supposed to be practicing your relaxation exercises today and it sounds as if you need to.
Caliotter, i truely wish i could. But I am at work and stuck until 5pm. I want to go home and take a nap. But i don't think that is on my agenda!!
On my lunch break I went and reviewed my Saunders book. I just looked up 3 diseases that I struggle to remember.
i know i shouldn't but i struggle w/ 3... and i feel if i had them on the test it would hurt to do a review. I am planning on taking some unisom at 8pm at then lay down for bed. test is at 0800 tomorrow!!

Hi Lisa1980,
My advice to you at this time is to start praying for calmness and to have less anxiety. The more relax you are, the better you focus. I did it and didnt find it hard and I know that keeping myself calm was a strategy that helped me. Remember that the computer is also working with you in that if it generates a question that you dont answer correctly, it will give you an easier one.
Try to relax, you have to do it, so you have no choice right now. I do understand how you feel. Good luck to you and try not to think about your previous NCLEX experience. It is your time now!!!!! Go for it!!!!!!!! Say to yourself "IT IS MY TIME NOW" even when you are walking towards the computer to take the test. You got this girl! I am going to say a special prayer for you.

Lisa1980,

I know it seems really difficult right now, but take a deep breath! You have to learn to keep your anxiety out of your mindset, it will screw with you and believe me staying positive will get you through this test! On my white board, I just wrote some basic things on cushings/addison's, hyper/hypothyroidism, and insulins. I also wrote on there really big, I WANT THIS BADLY, I WILL BE AN RN!! I remember closing my eyes and taking deep breaths an just learned to stay calm! You will do great!! Just get some rest, a good breakfast, and say prayers!! :) Let us know how you do tomorrow!
Stay positive and best wishes for tomorrow!
Thank you all!! My six year old said a little prayer with me. I'm sleepy and going to bed very early tonight!

Don't freak out if you go over 75 questions because you should expect 265. Like the pp stated, have a good breakfast, say a prayer, and dont forget to breathe before the questions. I did it, so can you.
