warrior woman already has a thread going asking prayer for our sibling frances lemay...a very dear woman. :kiss

i just spoke by phone to fran from her hospital bed. she does not have pneumonia, but is having difficulty with bronchitis and asthma. she also has a long history of copd which doesn't help her recovery to be any faster. fran states she will be in the hospital for an unknown number of days...possibly through the holidays. :o she has given me permission to post the following information for those of you who wish to send flowers and/or get-well cards to her at the hospital:

patient: mrs. frances lemay

3rd floor, room 356

mt. nittany medical center

1800 east park avenue

state college, pa 16803

the telephone number to her room is: (814) 231-7296

the telephone number to the hospital switchboard is: (814) 231-7000

fran has difficulty talking for long periods due to shortness of breath and not feeling up to par, so if anyone calls, please be respectful of this as i know you all will. :)

she was so excited to hear theresa (warrior woman) had started a prayer thread for her here at allnurses, and that i had started one at our christian women united group. with all this prayer power and positive thoughts her way, fran will be back with us in no time at all. :)

Thanx, Renee ! thumbsup.gif Good job !

Just a thought... do you suppose she could rent a laptop while she's there? I know how much she loves to stay in touch, being disabled and all... this would help her to while away the hours there and it would certainly cheer her up to hear from us ! :)

Hi jnette :)

It's possible that she would enjoy having a laptop while at the hospital recuperating. That is an excellent idea!

I told Fran I'd call her again in a couple days. She would LOVE to hear from you too. :)

Merry Christmas! :kiss
