Tips for taking your boards for the second time :(

Published

I took my Florida state boards last week and found out the worst news that I would never have thought I would see. I didn't pass,,,, of course I was a mess for a week but I am positive now and looking into diff ways to study and prepare a different way.. I have joined learningext.com and doing about 75 questions a day. I also have some mosby flashcards that i do when I am not close to a computer or driving and stuck in traffic lights... I also just today looked at a mosby CD review and it is pretty good,,, of course I am discouraged and pretty harsh on myself, but I am and want to overcome just this one obstacle and pass so I can breathe and have a life... I am still only doing 75 a day and trying to stay calm.... I do have test anxiety and I think that played a major role in it. I do work overnights so what I do is sleep when i come home and then spend about 2-3 hrs a day doing questions and reading my rationals.. as time seems to pass I keep thinking about how much i am forgetting but also I am learning a lot of new things that they did not cover so much in school so there is a pos and neg aspect to that..

I was just wondering if anybody is or was in the same situation I am in and if they had any suggestions or comments...

I would greatly appreciate any of them

Thank you
