Tips for block 2 of LPN program at Broward Technical

I am about to start block 2 of my program next week. Most people say it is the most challenging. Do you guys have any tips that worked for you? Pharmacology will be my first class. I really don't want to fail.

Hello ! Does anyone know of a good website to practice questions for med-sur by Timby 10th edition?

Do you have an NCLEX book? If so, please do practice questions, make flash cards with the med class, name, toxicity/therapeutic levels, side effects, both generic and regular name, etc.

Where r u going? I'm at Atlantic technical. Block 2 goes FAST. Stay on top of your reading. There's 2-3 tests a week.

Know the endings of your drugs. It'll help you. 'Lol's' are beta blockers. 'Prils' are ace inhibitors, etc...

Know your dosage calculations. Desired/have X the vehicle.
