Alright I am in an online program for my MSN, I work full time , direct patient care not an office job. So for all of you who are out there doing the same thing how do you get it all done? I am having trouble keeping up with the reading , I am fine with the discussion post but find myself doing all my papers the day they are due , generally have at least one or two pages done the day before they are due. Tonight I am doing research for my final paper and am just feeling like I am just not smart enough for this, so how about some help. How do you all get it done in a timely manner? MY bsn was also from UOP and I did not have as many issues as I do now with time and I did work full time then also.:crying2:::

I worked full time throughout my program, I sacrificed time with my family, did not do anything besides, work, study, clinicals.. etc. spent a lot of time at the library, (quiet environment)...... don't put things off, try to do something everyday...... I don't know, just take one day at a time, do not give up!! I did the brick and mortor route..... not online. Good luck you can do it!

Suni,

Have a calendar for each class and enter due dates of the weekly readings and assignments found on the course outline or syllabus. Refer daily to this calendar so you can plan ahead to work the assignment due dates into your schedule. This should help to keep you 'on track' to keep up with the workload of the course.
