well im in the program. my advice to you if you want to get in by January 2010 is to submitt your application ASAP. I don't know but it may be to late to send your application in for early admission. If you only have those two classes left this semster still send in your application. Be ready to have the patience of a god because its seems like forever before you get your letter. I'm applying to TCCs program next month. Im still in my last 2 prereqs. My question is how does that math diagnostic test work? I still have to take it. Do you have to take it before you apply? what happens if you dont get a 90? i know you have to take a math class but does that have to be completed before you apply as well?

Hi can someone tell me what actual classes are being counted towards the point system? Is SDV included?

I'm waiting to hear if I got into TCC for the fall. From what I understand (and this is from talking to advisors who, granted, may not have been clear), SDV 101 does not count in the point system -- but you do have to have it completed by the time you start the program.

I don't have the list in front of me of the classes in the point system, but going from memory it's A&P 1 & 2, and English 111-112. There's one more but I can't remember what it is...perhaps Micro. I'll look it up when I get home. Or hopefully someone else will know!

So this is prob a dumb question.. but oh well! I have questions about the application process. I am currently taking Anatomy and Microbiology. Microbiology ends the end of March and Anatomy will finish the end of May. I submitted my application for the general school of tidewater community college, but I have questions about the nursing program application. It says to submit the package with all the required paperwork all the at the same time. Does this mean I have to put the nursing app, and transcripts all in one package and send it off by May 15? Or.. can I send in the application and then the transcripts whenever (since I have a few college transcripts). Also, should I wait until I finish Micro or Anatomy to apply?

You have to send the application with your high school and college transcripts with it. They will send your application back if it doesn't include all the materials.
