Hey everyone! I recently and unfortunately failed the NCLEX RN exam on my first attempt. I have been taking the Hurst Review online for the past two weeks and I'm wondering if I should also take the live review as well. I wanted to know anyone's experiences with Hurst and their preparation for the boards. Were you successful with it? I feel much more confident in my content area, but I was wondering if thats still enough for question strategies on the exam? Any feedback would be wonderful! Thank you :)

I have no comment about the 2014 version of Hurst Review, but I did take the live review back in 2010 and loved it. I passed NCLEX-RN on my first attempt with 75 questions.

I just took boards (passed) and used Hurst Review. I loved it personally. It breaks down what you need to know. But now that you have your core content under control do tons of questions. Apply what you have learned :)

I did HURST and got the good pup up today.
Whatever review you use, just do what they recommend 100%.
I did everything they said. Q review... 5th day materials... etc...
It worked.
I also recommend using CDC to make sure you know infection control inside and out.
Good luck
Thanks y'all! Lillian11 what were your Q review scores? I've only taken one so far and scored 78/125 which isn't too good. But that was before taking the entire live review that I just finished today. So hopefully my scores will now improve!

I did hurst online and failed...so I don't have extra money to go any other review class..so I pay extra little bit to take live review the fact I love the way hurst breaking down content...I find out the first time review I didn't do it right...
with hurst you need to say it out loud...if you can say it you can pass just like Marlene said...
I passed 2 review around....hope this help...
Thanks! That does help. I just took the review too. What was your scores like for the Q Review and how many questions did you pass in the second time around??
