Hi everyone,
I have an interview with an admission counselor January 6th, I was wondering if anyone of you guys had recently an interview with them for the prelicensure BSN program. I'm kind of nervous and I don't know what to expect.

Hey, I just had my interview December 7th. Is it with Danielle? She's really nice. You'll be asked questions like why Jefferson is a good fit for you, how would you deal with people of different beliefs who may not want to have a procedure done, which 2 pre-req classes are the most important for Nursing, how do you study- if in groups or by yourself. Stuff like that. It was a low-stress interview, laid back.
I received news last week that I was accepted so good luck to you! Maybe we'll be classmates!
Thanks for your response, it really made me feel better.
Indeed my interview is with Danielle, I hope she 'll be as nice to me as she was with you.
so tell me, do you think they pay more attention to the GPA or how many prerequisite classes you took so far?
I have a GPA equal to 3.93 and I have To take 5 more classes (17 credits) between spring and summer I.
I hope it would not be an issue.
Congratulation!:yeah:
Hopefully, we will be classmate
I'm not sure but they really look at everything from your GPA to your letters of recommendation. I think you'll be good finishing your classes in summer 1. My sister and best friend graduated from this program in 2006 and they took classes in Summer 1 before starting nursing in the fall.
How many sciences have you done?
I took most of science classes, I need to take microbiology, general chemistry II, Nutrition, and 2 selective classes ( Philosophy and sociology).
What about you did you finish all your prerequisite classes?
I still have one selective left which I am going to take in the spring, it's a sociology course called Marriage and the Family. I'm guessing you're up for the 2nd review period?
That's right,I will get an answer by the end of January. l hope they won't put me on a waiting because I still need 17 credits.
Were you given an idea how the schedule is going to look like in your interview?
Yeah she gave me a brochure that gives all the courses and the clinicals you take per semester. So that was really helpful, she'll answer any questions you have too.

Hi Morningdew,
Congratulations on your acceptance! I was also accepted to TJU for Fall 2010 admission to the BSN program. I think I responded to your question concerning the interview a ways back. I am so happy for you!
I hope your interview went well.
Hey classmate! haha isn't it a relief that we're in? Now for financial aid...lol
Hi dear,
thanks for asking, the interview went well. however Danielle told me that there are 5 spots left for the 3rd review period. And in my case I will either be accepted or wait list.
I hope that having an experience of 5 years as a nurse anesthetist in Morocco plus my GPA will help me get in.
Honestly, I'm not very optimistic. I started applying for other schools.
I applied on monday for temple BSN program 2010, and next week I will apply for villanova.
I still did not hear from them. tell me did you receive an answer by e-mail or mail?
