QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

I confess I'm just finding out what 8647 means.
I wouldn't have picked up.on that either.
At the same time, I don't buy that Comey of all people just happened to come upon and post a pic of this "cool shell formation", and that he didn't know what 86 referred to.

Junior can't help himself. Or,maybe this conspiracy theory ugliness is just part of his "job".

Dr. Biden is not that kind of doctor dumbass.
None of the reports indicated a stage five (is there a stage 5?) but spoke of the Gleason Score which is a scoring of prostate cancer and give it a 9 (or Grade Group 5 which might have gotten him confused) out of 10.
He might have been carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer during his tenure in the White House, but why would he only now being discussing treatment options? There would be no reason for him to cover it up and delay treatment until now.
I don't know who this Dr. Steven Quay is but talking about medical malpractice? Even if his doctor diagnosed him prior and Biden chose to delay treatment until now, that's called patient autonomy, not medical malpractice.
Biden Derangement Syndrome. Let's start a conspiracy theory.
Maybe he doesn't even have cancer and wants to distract from this damaging book coming out about him.
I have a friend, actually the husband of a friend, who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer with mets to the bone by the time it was caught. It happens. My friend got a PSA checked during his physicals, but also thought urinary symptoms were just something old men went through. Some of the more aggressive forms of prostate cancer might not show up one year but show up with mets the next. (He took a round of chemo and stopped it due to side effects and went with hormonal treatment instead. He understands this might be the beginning of the end. He had a PET scan a couple of weeks ago and the tumor shrunk but is still there.)

I agree. I'm sure he knew what he was posting, but also sure he didn't mean "assassinate Trump". He could have used better judgement in these violent times.

The guy said the malpractice would be if he was just now diagnosed. Not just now getting treatment.
You're taking them at their word that he's just now getting diagnosed and considering treatment options. I'm skeptical.

Let me backtrack some now that I'm thinking about it more.
I am not taking him at his word that he is just now getting diagnosed and considering treatment options.
I think he's revealing the cancer, not saying "I was just diagnosed".
Often with prostate cancer, the treatment is no treatment and just to watch. But if it's aggressive cancer, that doesn't make sense either.
He never reported his PSA tests like other presidents have. I think he might have had the diagnosis for a while, maybe years.
I think a sitting President not being upfront about a health crisis or condition is irresponsible. Unlike the rest of us, it's not necessarily a private situation. Then comes the question "who else knew about it and covered it up".
He could have been effective with prostate cancer, it doesn't always have to be a debilitating diagnosis.
I also know from my friend's experience and the experience of patients prostate cancer with mets to the bone can pop up rather quickly. (I take care of post-prostatectomy patients).
I think it's interesting that MAGA is eager to accept the assessments of an oncologist from afar if it's about Biden, but not willing to accept the assessments of a psychiatrist (or hundreds of them) when it concerns Trump's mental health. It fits with what we know about cult behavior.
nursej22 said:Routine PSA tests are not recommended after age 70, unless symptomatic or other concerns, such as family history. As I read the article in the media, President Biden was having symptoms, and a nodule was found on examination.
So ... if I understand your post properly, Biden was probably in the no-regular-testing age group for up to 18 years prior to having actual symptoms.
I suggest that we hold off getting all thin in the nose over "irresponsibilty" until we know more about what actually happened.
Meanwhile. I can't help but wonder about those glowing reports of Trump's "excellent health", none of which involve a psych eval or head CT.
